Detailed Job Description:

• Responsibility for the overall design of Plumbing & Fire protection systems deliverables
• Communicate with clients on a regular basis
• Teach & interact with team members to help improve their technical skills
• Use AutoCAD & REVIT for design modelling
• Prepared to undergo training in new software, if needed
• Assist team in preparing plumbing and fire protection design documentation and calculation sheets
• Willingness to accept and implement constructive feedback

Educational Qualifications Needed:

BE/B. Tech Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Civil Engineering with relevant technical qualifications.

Key Skills And Experience Needed:

• Minimum 4-5 years of experience in designing of Plumbing & Fire Protection Systems
• Experience in design of water supply, sewerage and drainage system including necessary calculations. Design of comprehensive underground sewerage and storm water systems. Sizing and selecting of location for STP & water tanks. Detail drawing layout for internal & external water and drainage systems
• Experience in fire protection systems design of sprinklers, external & internal hydrant systems, fire pump & tank systems design, hydraulic calculations
• Experience in design of fire detection & alarm systems
• Good understanding & knowledge of international codes like NFPA, Uniform Plumbing
• Knowledge of Australian codes would be an added advantage.
• Proficient in AutoCAD & REVIT for design work
• Good communication skills and ability to interact with clients on a regular basis
• Consistently produce accurate work without errors
