This job also involves:

• Collaborating with the development team to understand project requirements and contribute to the design and implementation of back-end solutions.
• Assisting in developing and maintaining server-side applications and databases to meet project specifications
• Writing efficient and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards
• Conducting testing and debugging of applications to ensure functionality and reliability
• Collaborating with front-end developers to integrate server-side logic with user interfaces
• Learning and utilising appropriate software development tools and technologies to support the development process
• Staying up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies and frameworks related to back-end development
• Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback to improve code quality
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies

Experience:

0-1 years

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field
• In-depth knowledge of PHP
• Familiarity with web development concepts, including client-server architecture, APIs and databases
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Knowledge of SQL and experience with database management systems – MySQL
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git) and collaborative development workflows
