Nisha (name changed) is an architect and worked on interior design projects that included a bit of sales. She wanted to move away from the interior design domain and get back to core architectural work. Therefore, she decided to take a break and figure out what she had to do to return to the architectural domain.
At that time, Nisha’s research led her to a BIM course in Mumbai, and she found it fascinating. She wanted to know more about BIM and the companies that used BIM. She decided to enroll for a full-time BIM course, which was classroom-based instructor-led training and not online.
However, during her research, she also started applying for jobs.
During her research on architectural internship courses, she discovered Grey Edge. Nisha preferred to learn offline in a full-time course, rather than online, as juggling a job and learning BIM in detail could be challenging.
When she visited Grey Edge, she met the trainer to better understand details about the BIM Architecture course. After comparing it with other training institutes, she chose Grey Edge, because:
On the first day of the course, the trainer went through a step-by-step structure on how the course would be divided into separate sections. This way, Nisha was clear about what topics would be covered and how much time and effort would be required to learn about BIM.
During the course, the trainer patiently answered all course-related questions and explained intricate details of the software.
This in-depth exchange of questions and answers helped Nisha when she attended job interviews, as she could answer all technical questions related to Revit, BIM and Navisworks.
Thus, Nisha chose not to go forward with the internship part of the BIM architecture internship course, as she found her dream job of working on architectural projects. She received a significant 35% hike on her previous CTC while she was taking her course at Grey Edge.
